Borussia Dortmund just about got the job done against Hannover 96, claiming a 2-0 win to qualify for the last 16 of the DFB-Pokal.

Borussia Dortmund managed to overcome the challenge of Hannover 96 in the second round of the DFB-Pokal, with Jude Bellingham on target in the 2-0 win. It was another below par performance from the Black and Yellows, who were second best for large parts of the game.

Gregor Kobel was the star of the show for Borussia Dortmund, with the goalkeeper showing his top class quality after a disappointing showing against Union Berlin on Sunday.

Youssoufa Moukoko also had some very encouraging moments and forced an own goal from Bright Arrey-Mbi in the first half. Jude Bellingham then came off the bench and made sure of the win from the penalty spot.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-0 win over Hannover 96.

Gregor Kobel (9/10)

Gregor Kobel rescued his side on a number of occasions, with Hannover 96 putting pressure on the BVB goal time and time again. He made a superb reaction save in the 6th minute and then made an excellent save to keep Dortmund ahead after Håvard Nielsen went through on goal at the half hour mark. The Swiss international then kept his composure again in the second half to help his side claim the win.
