Forwards: Karim Adeyemi, Donyell Malen, Youssoufa Moukoko

Karim Adeyemi is expected to return to the starting XI on Saturday after being sent off in the game against Hannover 96. The forward has looked off the pace in recent games. And he will need to find some form quickly if he wants to be in the Germany squad for the FIFA World Cup next month.

Like Adeyemi, Donyell Malen has also struggled in recent games and is in danger of missing out on selection for the World Cup. The Dutch forward hasn’t scored or assisted a goal since August, and he will be desperate to change that on Saturday.

Youssoufa Moukoko is the only in-form forward in the Borussia Dortmund squad at the moment. And it appears that he has established himself as the team’s first-choice striker. Unless Edin Terzic decides to rest him for the Manchester City game, the 17 year old will start up front against Stuttgart.

Anthony Modeste is also fit again and could be an option if Moukoko is given a breather. While Thorgan Hazard could start again if Terzic decides to bench Adeyemi or Malen.
