Gregor Kobel (8/10)

Gregor Kobel wasn’t tested as much as Manchester City would have liked. But he came up with a massive penalty save when called upon to help his side earn a share of the spoils.

Niklas Süle (7/10)

Süle delivered another solid performance at right-back and played a number of neat forward passes in the first half. He was asked to do a lot more defending after the break and did really well to keep Phil Foden quiet.

Mats Hummels (9/10)

Hummels rolled back the years once again and delivered another excellent performance against Manchester City. He rendered the free scoring Erling Haaland ineffective before the Norwegian international was subbed off.

The veteran centre-back made two crucial recoveries during the same Manchester City attack to keep the scores level in the 18th minute. He then continued to position himself wherever he was needed and managed to disrupt a number of Manchester City attacks.

Nico Schlotterbeck (7/10)

Schlotterbeck put in a much improved performance and managed to prevent Julian Alvarez from making much of an impact. He made a number of crunching tackles and also looked composed with the ball at his feet.

Thorgan Hazard (6/10)

Hazard quietly did his job really well and put in a disciplined performance despite being asked to play out of position in Raphael Guerreiro’s absence. He did not venture forward much, but did a solid job against the dangerous Riyad Mahrez.
