Borussia Dortmund will go up against fourth placed Eintracht Frankfurt on matchday 12 of the 2022/23 Bundesliga season.

Fresh after securing their place in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, Borussia Dortmund will be aiming to close the gap to the top two teams in the Bundesliga. But another tough test awaits the Black and Yellows this weekend, as they travel to the Deutsche Bank Park to face the high flying Eintracht Frankfurt.

Last season’s UEFA Europa League winners currently find themselves one place and one point clear of Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga standings. Eintracht Frankfurt are currently on a four game winning run, and go into Saturday’s game on the back of a memorable 2-1 win over Olympique Marseille in the Champions League.

Borussia Dortmund comfortably dispatched Stuttgart at home last weekend. But their away form in the Bundesliga has simply not been good enough this season.

Edin Terzic’s side have lost their last three away games in the Bundesliga, conceding eight goals in the process. They will no doubt be keen to improve on that dismal run, starting with Saturday’s topspiel against Eintracht Frankfurt.
