Jude Bellingham scored the winner but Gregor Kobel was the star of the show as Borussia Dortmund beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-1 in the Bundesliga.

Borussia Dortmund put in a battling performance to see off the challenge of Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga on Saturday evening. Goals from Julian Brandt and Jude Bellingham helped the Black and Yellows secure a hard fought 2-1 win.

Eintracht Frankfurt were the better side for much of the game, but Borussia Dortmund were more clinical in front of goal and made the most of their chances. The Eagles were denied by Gregor Kobel time and time again, with the Swiss shot stopper proving once again why he is one of the best goalkeepers in the Bundesliga.

Mats Hummels also continued his excellent run of form in defence, while Jude Bellingham proved to be the difference maker as he scored the winning goal. Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Gregor Kobel (9/10)

Fresh off his penalty save against Manchester City, Kobel delivered another match-winning performance against Eintracht Frankfurt. He kept his side’s lead intact in the second half by making a number of world class saves. Had it not been for him, Borussia Dortmund would most certainly have lost the game.
