Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt
By Tushar Bahl
Karim Adeyemi (5/10)
Adeyemi was involved in an intriguing battle with Luca Pellegrini, and he was second best more often than not. Once again, he helped out defensively even though his impact going forward was limited. And he was also slightly lucky that his challenge on Jesper Lindstrøm didn’t result in a penalty for Eintracht Frankfurt. The forward was replaced by the more defensive minded Marius Wolf in the second half.
Donyell Malen (5/10)
Malen did really well to beat Tuta and set up Julian Brandt for Borussia Dortmund’s opening goal. But that was as good as it got for him. He also failed to offer any help defensively, even though Thorgan Hazard desperately needed some support while facing Dina Ebimbe and Lindstrøm.
Youssoufa Moukoko (6/10)
Moukoko wasn’t able to get involved as much as in recent games, as Borussia Dortmund struggled to offer him any service. But he was still able to show his quality with a deft and neat touch to assist Bellingham’s winning goal.
