Defenders: Felix Passlack, Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck, Thorgan Hazard

It makes sense for Edin Terzic to give at least one of his three main defenders some rest, and we could see Felix Passlack come into the team at right-back for his first start of the season. With Raphael Guerreiro, Tom Rothe and Marius Wolf all sidelined, Thorgan Hazard will likely keep his place at left-back.

One of Mats Hummels, Niklas Süle and Nico Schlotterbeck could be rested on Wednesday. Borussia Dortmund have heavily relied on the trio so far this season, and the game against Copenhagen is the perfect opportunity to give at least one of them a breather ahead of the World Cup.

Soumaila Coulibaly and Antonios Papadopoulos are the other central defenders in the Borussia Dortmund squad if Terzic wants to make wholesale changes to his back-line. Although Coulibaly has yet to make his first-team debut, while Papadopoulos has largely been used off the bench.
