Report: Felix Passlack dissatisfied with his role at Borussia Dortmund
Felix Passlack reportedly wants to leave Borussia Dortmund, as he is said to be dissatisfied with his lack of playing time.
Felix Passlack looks set to leave Borussia Dortmund, either in January or in the summer when his contract with the club expires. This is being reported by WAZ, who add that the full-back is said to be annoyed with his current role in the first-team.
Passlack has been limited to just two appearances so far this season for Borussia Dortmund, and has spent just 25 minutes on the pitch. The 24 year old has hardly been used even though the likes of Thomas Meunier, Mateu Morey and Raphael Guerreiro have all been forced to deal with injury problems this season.
Edin Terzic has relied on the likes of Niklas Süle, Thorgan Hazard and Marius Wolf ahead of Passlack, even though he is a more natural full-back than the trio.
WAZ add that Passlack could have joined Greek side Olympiacos in September, but the offer was turned down. He is keen to go to a club where he will get more playing time. And if Borussia Dortmund receive any offers for him during the January transfer window, they will consider them.
Felix Passlack came through the ranks at Borussia Dortmund and was once considered to be one of the brightest young talents at the club. He had loan spells with TSG Hoffenheim, Norwich City and Fortuna Sittard before returning to Dortmund in 2020. The 2015 Fritz Walter Medal winner has made a total of 52 appearances for the Black and Yellows.
