Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Bochum: Youssoufa Moukoko stars in 3-0 win
By Tushar Bahl
Donyell Malen (5/10)
Malen won his side a crucial penalty early in the first half. But other than that, he had a rather quiet afternoon. The Dutch forward struggled to get involved in the game and also made some really questionable decisions when he got on the ball.
Gio Reyna (6/10)
Reyna converted the spot-kick with great composure against Manuel Riemann, who is one of the league’s best goalkeepers when it comes to saving penalties. He had a few encouraging moments over the course of the game, but wasn’t able to create as much as he would have liked.
Youssoufa Moukoko (9/10)
Moukoko made history as he scored a match-winning brace for Borussia Dortmund in the first half. Both his goals were simply exquisite and sublime, and showed that he can make a real impact if selected in Germany’s squad for the FIFA World Cup. The 17 year old did miss a golden chance to complete his hat-trick in the second half. But overall, it was another excellent performance from him.
Marco Reus, Karim Adeyemi, Felix Passlack, Thorgan Hazard, Anthony Modeste (N/R)
Marco Reus made his return from injury, giving both his club and country a major boost.
