Borussia Dortmund road to the World Cup: Which players will make the final squads?

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner, and players are counting the days before the tournament starts on November 20. There is still plenty to play for in club competitions before the Borussia Dortmund players head to Qatar. However, it is fair to say that the World Cup is probably already in the back of the players’ mind.

Despite the fear of injuries, no one is guaranteed a World Cup spot just yet. The national teams participating in the competition will have until November 14 to announce the final list of 26 players going to the tournament. So far, only Japan have released their final list, and other nations will announce their squads in the coming days as well.

As for the Borussia Dortmund squad, a number of players are likely to be called up for the World Cup.
