Borussia Dortmund’s three-game winning streak in the league is done and dusted following a 2-0 loss at the hands of VfL Wolfsburg

Borussia Dortmund fell at the Volkswagen Arena on Tuesday evening after an apathetic performance by Edin Terzic’s side. The Black and Yellows arrived to the game three points behind current league leaders Bayern München after 13 matches played. Such a gap will surely be extended by the Bavarians after BVB dropped points away from home in the Bundesliga for the fourth time this season.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-0 defeat to Wolfsburg.

Gregor Kobel (9/10)

What can be said about Gregor Kobel and his remarkable performances that hasn’t been said before? He is perhaps one of two Borussia Dortmund players, along with Jude Bellingham, who can marvel us with astonishing displays in pretty much every game.

The Swiss goalkeeper kept Borussia Dortmund in the game for as long as he could by making several crucial saves. Unfortunately for him, a clean sheet wasn’t possible today nor was it avoidable since there was nothing he could do when van de Ven headed home from close range, or when Nmecha turned home the second goal.
