Donyell Malen (3/10)

Malen’s disappointing season continued as he struggled to make much of an impression. He had a great opportunity to equalise in the 44th minute, but his shot from point blank range was well saved by the goalkeeper. He wasn’t able to get involved much other than that.

Gio Reyna (5/10)

Reyna should have scored after Moukoko’s shot was saved in the 34th minute. But his rebounded effort was well blocked by Bensebaini. He did set up a great opportunity for Malen late in the first half, but the Dutch forward failed to score. The USMNT international was taken off at half-time.

Youssoufa Moukoko (5/10)

Moukoko had a golden chance to score in the 34th minute but his header was well saved by the Gladbach goalkeeper. He had a few encouraging moments in the first half, but was kept quiet after the break.

Thorgan Hazard (4/10)

Hazard delivered a few crosses into the box from the right flank. But he failed to create any chances of note for his teammates.

Salih Özcan (5/10)

Özcan came on to replace Emre Can at the hour mark but failed to provide any stability to the Borussia Dortmund midfield or stem the tide of Gladbach attacks.

Anthony Modeste (4/10)

Modeste had a couple of decent half chances but his positioning was all wrong for both of them.
