Reported Borussia Dortmund target Daichi Kamada is keeping all his options open, with his contract set to expire at the end of the season.

Daichi Kamada is enjoying another excellent season with Eintracht Frankfurt and has 13 goals and four assists to his name in just 22 appearances across all competitions so far. Reports claimed earlier this month that Borussia Dortmund are interested in signing the attacking midfielder, who will be out of contract in the summer.

Now Kamada has commented on his future. In an interview with Sport1, the 26 year old revealed that he will definitely stay at Eintracht Frankfurt until the end of the season. But he also refused to rule out a contract extension with the Eagles, saying that he is keeping all his options open at the moment.

"“I’m staying in Frankfurt this season,” Kamada said. “Even if there may be talks with other clubs in the winter, I have no interest in leaving immediately. I have already decided that I want to finish the season with this coach and this team.”“I am much more demanding than you might think when it comes to the clubs I would like to move to. There have already been talks and contacts with big clubs for two years now.”"

Kamada joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2017 and has made a total of 154 appearances for them. He helped Oliver Glasner’s side win the UEFA Europa League last season, and also played a crucial role in their qualification to the UEFA Champions League round of 16 this season.

Daichi Kamada is primarily an attacking midfielder, but he is also capable of playing out wide and in the number eight role. Borussia Dortmund have a number of attacking midfielders in their ranks, including Marco Reus, Gio Reyna, and Julian Brandt. But the Japan international has already proven himself in the Bundesliga and his contract is set to expire at the end of the season. And that could make him a very attractive option for the Black and Yellows.
