Jude Bellingham and Gio Reyna were both involved as England and the United States played out a goalless draw in the FIFA World Cup on Friday evening.

England went up against the USMNT on Friday, looking to secure their place in the 2022 FIFA World Cup round of 16. Jude Bellingham started for the Three Lions, fresh off his goal against Iran. While Gio Reyna started on the bench for the United States.

The two sides played out an entertaining goalless draw, with a string of missed chances coming back to haunt the USMNT. After earning a dominant 6-2 win over Iran in their group stage opener, England were far from their best on Friday.

Former Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic came closest to scoring as he hit the crossbar with a fine effort in the first half. Gio Reyna came on to make his FIFA World Cup debut with seven minutes to go. But there were no goals and the two sides had to settle for a point.

The result leaves Group B wide open going into the final round of fixtures, with all four teams having a chance to qualify for the round of 16. England are top with four points to their name. Iran are second, one point clear of the United States. While Wales are fourth with one point, having lost to Iran earlier on Friday.
