Borussia Dortmund are on the verge of signing Ramy Bensebaini on a free transfer in the summer, with talks reportedly at an advanced stage.

Borussia Dortmund are said to be closing in on the signing of Ramy Bensebaini, with the Borussia Mönchengladbach left-back set to join on a free transfer in the summer. The Black and Yellows have been heavily linked with a move for Bensebaini over the last six months. And Sky Sport are reporting that he is now closing in on a move to Borussia Dortmund.

The report claims that talks between Borussia Dortmund and Bensebaini’s agents are already at a very advanced stage.

Bensebaini will likely replace Raphael Guerreiro at Borussia Dortmund, with Ruhr Nachrichten claiming that the BVB bosses have already decided that the Portuguese international’s expiring contract will not be extended.

Ramy Bensebaini joined Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2019 and has established himself as one of the best left-backs in the Bundesliga over the last couple of seasons. He has made a total of 19 appearances for the Foals so far this season, scoring six goals. One of those goals came in Gladbach’s 4-2 win over Borussia Dortmund last month.

Bensebaini’s current contract with Gladbach is set to expire at the end of the season, and he has already told them that he will not be signing an extension. Inter Milan and Bayern Munich have also been linked with a move for the 27 year old in recent weeks. But it looks like he will now join Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer in the summer.
