Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham sees market value soar after strong World Cup performances
Borussia Dortmund and England midfielder Jude Bellingham has had an increase in his market valuation after a strong showing at the World Cup, per Transfermarkt.
According to the most recent numbers, Jude Bellingham is currently valued at 110 million euros, an increase of 10 million prior to the start of the tournament. This comes at a time when the future of Bellingham is the source of ample speculation. The English international’s future has been a topic for some time now, as clubs from all over Europe have started to make the necessary preparations to pursue his signature this coming summer.
Among those clubs, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Liverpool seem to be the most interested. Whichever club does indeed decide to try to sign him if the player chooses to leave the Black and Yellows will have to pay a fee close to 150 million euros for his services, if reports are to be believed.
Bellingham isn’t the only Bundesliga player to see his value increase after the World Cup. RB Leipzig’s Joško Gvardiol and Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala both saw a rise in value; with the two having a higher jump in valuation than Bellingham himself. Gvardiol’s value increased to 75 million euros, while Musiala is now valued at 100 million euros.
The current valuation of the players is a testament to the hard work they have put in and the crucial roles they have played for their respective sides. Jude Bellingham for his part has been immense for Borussia Dortmund this season, taking on the role of third captain and leading from the front. BVB are planning to begin talks with Bellingham soon, so more information regarding his future should arise in the coming months.
