Borussia Dortmund striker Sébastien Haller has been included in the 28-man squad for the club’s mid-season training camp in Marbella.

Borussia Dortmund are headed to Spain to take part in a training camp ahead of the second half of the season. Edin Terzic has his entire squad available to him for the training camp, including Sébastien Haller. The striker took part in some parts of team training earlier this week and he will continue his progress in Marbella.

Sébastien Haller was diagnosed with testicular cancer in July and was forced to miss the entire first half of the season as a result. But he has made excellent progress in recent weeks and is now inching closer to his comeback. It still remains to be seen when the striker will be able to make his Borussia Dortmund debut. But his inclusion in the training camp squad will no doubt come as a big boost to everyone at the club.

Marco Reus is also back after recovering from his ankle injury. Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Mahmoud Dahoud, Anthony Modeste and Marius Wolf are also fully fit and have been named in the 28-man squad. Mateu Morey has also been included, and will look to take the next steps towards his comeback from injury in Marbella.

Borussia Dortmund will play two friendly matches during the training camp. The Black and Yellows will go up against Fortuna Düsseldorf on January 10, before facing FC Basel three days later. BVB will play their first competitive game of the new year on January 22, as they take on FC Augsburg in the Bundesliga.
