Youssoufa Moukoko is reportedly keen to stay at Borussia Dortmund despite attracting the interest of a number of English Premier League clubs.

Borussia Dortmund are sweating on the future of Youssoufa Moukoko, with the highly rated striker’s contract set to expire at the end of the season. The two parties held talks over a new contract in December, but an agreement could not be reached. Both Sport1 and Sky Sport are now claiming that Moukoko wants to stay in Dortmund despite receiving better financial offers from clubs in England and Spain.

Sport1 add that Newcastle United have already submitted a big money offer to Moukoko. The English Premier League side is offering the 18 year old a signing bonus of 30 million euros and an annual salary of nine millions euros. Chelsea, FC Barcelona, and Manchester United are also said to be interested in signing Moukoko, who made his senior debut for Germany in November.

Moukoko said in November that he feels right at home at Borussia Dortmund, adding that his preference would be to stay with the Black and Yellows. But for that to happen, the BVB bosses and Moukoko’s agent will need to come to an agreement over a new contract. The two parties are set to meet again in the coming days and hold talks regarding the striker’s future.
