Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 4-3 win over Augsburg
By Tushar Bahl
Salih Özcan (3/10)
Özcan had a game to forget and he will feel that he should have done better with both of Augsburg’s first half goals. He made some gripping tackles and was always looking to get involved in duels. But he didn’t always come out on top. The game often passed him by, especially when the away side looked to counter.
Jude Bellingham (8/10)
Bellingham was looking to make things happen for Borussia Dortmund right from the first whistle. He charged forward from midfield with the ball at his feet on a number of occasions, and also linked up really well with his teammates. The England international also gave Borussia Dortmund the lead in the first half with an excellent finish. And he helped his side regain control of the game after the break.
Julian Brandt (7/10)
Despite not getting on the scoresheet, Brandt put in an impressive shift for his side. He delivered some excellent passes for his teammates and created a number of dangerous chances. The playmaker will feel unlucky that he didn’t end the game with a hat-trick of assists.
