Jamie Bynoe-Gittens [6/10]

Bynoe-Gittens provided some much needed dynamism and creativity following his entry to the game. As opposed to Malen, the young England winger was more engaged, with his constant movement providing his teammates with options to link-up well with him. More time on the pitch would have allowed him to make more contributions to the result. And he will no doubt play a key role for the team in the coming weeks.

Giovanni Reyna [7/10]

The hero against Augsburg was also the match-winner at the MEWA Arena. Reyna’s game was a rather quiet one until the dying moments of the game when Sébastien Haller headed the ball from a corner and into his path. The USMNT international showed great composure to keep his shot down and find the back of the net to seal the win for his side. Given his recent goal contributions, it would be no surprise to see him in the starting XI on Sunday.

Sébastien Haller [6/10]

Much like Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Sébastien Haller added value to Dortmund’s offensive game. This statement became even more true when his header was turned home by Gio Reyna late on. Borussia Dortmund fans should expect to see more of Haller in the coming matches as his fitness levels improve.
