Jamie Bynoe-Gittens wants to win many titles with Borussia Dortmund and is also determined to win the Ballon d’Or one day.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is one of the most highly rated young players in the Borussia Dortmund squad, and has already shown what he is capable of at the first-team level. The 18 year old is setting big goals for himself, and wants to become the best player in the world. In an interview with SportBILD, Bynoe-Gittens said that he wants to win the Ballon d’Or one day.

"“I want to win lots of titles – preferably with BVB. And I’d like to win the Ballon d’Or one day.”“I know it’s a very ambitious goal and involves a lot of work. But I’m not crazy. I feel the only thing that gets me ahead is this mindset, knowing that I can do it someday. “Dream big” – that’s my motto, which I keep in mind every day.”"

Bynoe-Gittens, who joined Borussia Dortmund from Manchester City in 2020, made his first-team debut for the club last year. He became a permanent part of the first-team during pre-season and it did not take long for him to make his mark in the Bundesliga.

The winger played a crucial role in the Black and Yellows’ come from behind win over SC Freiburg on matchday two of the Bundesliga season. But he then suffered a shoulder injury and was forced to spend four months on the sidelines.

Bynoe-Gittens made his return to action earlier this month and made an instant impact, as he came off the bench and scored a stunning goal to help Borussia Dortmund beat Augsburg 4-3.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is enjoying his time at Borussia Dortmund and is determined to keep on improving. He sees the Yellow Wall at the Westfalenstadion as a huge motivation, and wants to inspire the fans every time he steps out on the pitch.

"“The Yellow Wall has always been a huge motivation for me. When you’re on the pitch, you can hardly understand any instructions (from the coaches), just the chants of our fans.”“To score in front of them is simply magical. I want to experience that feeling again and again. It’s a big goal of mine to constantly inspire the fans with my performances from now on.”"
