Salih Özcan (6/10)

Salih Özcan had an inconspicuous game, which is not necessarily a bad thing for a defensive midfielder. He made a number of defensive contributions for his side, but never looked like causing any problems going forward. The Turkish international did pick up his fifth yellow card of the season and will now miss next weekend’s game against Freiburg.

Emre Can (6/10)

Emre Can had a rough start to the game and Leverkusen ran rings around him in the first half. But he got better as the game went on, and his robust display was crucial to Borussia Dortmund getting the three points.

Jude Bellingham (7/10)

After an uncharacteristic start, Jude Bellingham really stamped his authority on the game in midfield. Leverkusen found it really difficult to deal with his trademark late runs into the box. The England international also played a role in both of his side’s goals, and nearly scored in the 74th minute with a looping header.
