Borussia Dortmund have added Sebastien Haller, Julian Ryerson, and Mahmoud Dahoud to their squad for the UEFA Champions League knockout stages.
The UEFA Champions League is set to make its return this month, with Borussia Dortmund squaring off against Chelsea in the round of 16. The Black and Yellows have now submitted their squad for the knockout rounds, and Sebastien Haller, Mahmoud Dahoud, and new signing Julian Ryerson have all been added to the list.
Julian Ryerson, who joined Borussia Dortmund from Union Berlin last month, will make his UEFA Champions League debut if he features in the knockout stages.
Sebastien Haller missed the first half of the season after being diagnosed with testicular cancer. But he made his return to action last month, and is now set to make his Champions League debut for Borussia Dortmund.
Highly rated winger Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is also set to make his UEFA Champions League debut after being included in the B-list. Both Bynoe-Gittens and Mahmoud Dahoud were forced to miss the CL group stage after suffering shoulder injuries.
Jude Bellingham, Youssoufa Moukoko, Lion Semic, Silas Ostrzinski and Marlon Zacharias are also on the B-list, which features players who were born on or after January 1, 2001 and have been at the club for two years or more.
Julien Duranville has not been included in the squad as Borussia Dortmund want to give him time to recover from his injury and get accustomed to the Bundesliga first. The 16 year old winger joined BVB from Anderlecht in January.
