Emre Can (6/10)

Can had another solid game in defensive midfield. He did not do much wrong and helped stop a few Freiburg counter-attacks. His forward passes didn’t always reach the mark. But he did the dirty work well and showed why he deserves his spot in the starting XI.

Jude Bellingham (6/10)

For all of Borussia Dortmund’s dominance, Bellingham was kept fairly quiet by Freiburg. But he still managed to showcase his incredible quality by setting up Karim Adeyemi’s goal. His back-heel assist was nothing short of world-class.

Marco Reus (6/10)

Reus had a couple of chances to score and will feel unlucky not to have found the back of the net from close range in the second half. He struggled to get involved in the game at times. But considering it was his first competitive start since September, he did a fairly decent job.
