Karim Adeyemi (8/10)

Adeyemi looked lively from the off and did really well to get Kiliann Sildillia sent off in the first half. He clocked the fastest speed of the season so far in the Bundesliga, and the Freiburg defenders failed to keep up with him for most of the game. The forward also scored for the second game running and showed great control in a crowded box to restore Borussia Dortmund’s lead in the second half.

Julian Brandt (9/10)

Brandt continued his excellent run of form by playing an instrumental role in Borussia Dortmund’s win over Freiburg. He delivered some excellent set pieces, played with great energy, and also set up a number of chances for his teammates. The playmaker then capped off his stunning performance by finding the back of the net with a lovely finish from long range in the second half.

Sebastien Haller (7/10)

Haller showed his quality in the box by heading home his first ever competitive goal for Borussia Dortmund. The goal is one everyone associated with the club will remember for years to come. It was without a doubt one of the most memorable moments of the season so far.
