Emre Can (7/10)

Can showed just what he is capable of by giving Borussia Dortmund the lead with a stunning strike from 50 yards out. It was a sumptuous finish out of nowhere from the midfielder, and it gave BVB the all important lead going into the break.

Salih Özcan (6/10)

Özcan made his impact on the game by playing an inch-perfect line-breaking pass to find Jude Bellingham in the build up to Marco Reus’ winning goal. He quietly went about his business other than that and was largely solid.

Jude Bellingham (7/10)

Bellingham created a great chance for Sebastien Haller in the first half, which the striker failed to convert. He found it difficult to get involved in the game at times, with Bochum looking to prevent him from finding any space. But the England international still managed to show his ability to make the difference in the second half by setting up the winning goal for Reus.
