Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 2-1 win over Bochum
By Tushar Bahl
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (5/10)
Bynoe-Gittens looked lively early on and forced a good save from the goalkeeper. But Bochum were able to keep him quiet after an impressive start. And the 18 year old also gave away a penalty, although it was a very harsh and dubious decision from the referee.
Julian Brandt (7/10)
Some of Julian Brandt’s play in the first half was a joy to watch, and he created some really good chances for his teammates. The playmaker wasn’t able to impact the game as much after the break, perhaps as a result of fatigue.
Sebastien Haller (5/10)
Haller had a couple of really good chances to score but failed to find the back of the net. He had a tough time getting involved in the game in the second half, and was later replaced by Anthony Modeste.
Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10)
Schlotterbeck came on to replace Marius Wolf early in the second half. He did not do much wrong, but wasn’t able to help bring any stability to the BVB defence.
Marco Reus (N/R)
Reus made an instant impact after coming off the bench and tapped home the winning goal for his side.
