Borussia Dortmund for all their good work in the transfer market, have had their fair share of transfer flops. Here we will take a look at five big money flops in the club’s recent history.

Borussia Dortmund have found great success in the transfer market in recent years, finding cheap, unknown youngsters and turning them into stars to sell for massive profits. Michael Zorc and co. have made some of the shrewdest signings of all clubs in Europe since the turn of the century.

But mixed in with all that success is the odd player that really didn’t click with Borussia Dortmund for one reason or another, and was let go without making the desired impact.
