Emre Can (6/10)

Can broke up a number of Werder Bremen attacks and also made some impressive forward runs. He did sloppily lose the ball on a couple of occasions. But it was still a fairly solid performance from the midfielder.

Jude Bellingham (7/10)

Bellingham had a mixed bag of a game, but still produced some moments of brilliance for his side. The England international set up an excellent chance for Marco Reus, before forcing two good saves from Pavlenka. The end product seemed to be missing at times from his game. But he still put in another fighting display in the middle of the park.

Marco Reus (4/10)

Reus made his return to the starting XI but was off the pace for the most part. The game largely passed him by up until the 47th minute, when he missed a golden chance to give his side the lead. He was subbed off with Borussia Dortmund desperately needing a goal.
