Borussia Dortmund will be looking to extend their winning run to eight games as they go up against Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga this weekend.
High-flying Borussia Dortmund will be back in Bundesliga action on Sunday as they host Hertha Berlin. Fresh off their hard fought win over Chelsea, the Black and Yellows will be full of confidence heading into this tie. They will be aiming to dispatch Hertha Berlin and keep pace with their Bundesliga title rivals.
We could see a bit of rotation to the Borussia Dortmund starting XI on Sunday. Julian Brandt, who was named the Bundesliga Player of the Month for January, could be in line for a breather. Youssoufa Moukoko, Julien Duranville and Mateu Morey are currently sidelined with injuries.
Marco Reus and Mats Hummels could return to the starting XI after being left on the bench for 90 minutes against Chelsea. It will be interesting to see just how many changes Edin Terzic decides to make to his side after Wednesday’s end to end contest.
Hertha Berlin are coming off a shock 4-1 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach. That game ended their run of four straight defeats, but the Berliners are still very much threatened with the prospect of relegation.
Sandro Schwarz’s side do have a number of talented young players in their squad. So Borussia Dortmund will have to be at their very best to get the three points on Sunday.
