Marius Wolf (5/10)

Wolf gifted a chance to Hertha early on. He then lost the ball in midfield and Borussia Dortmund never really recovered, as Hertha made it 2-1 early in the second half. Other than that, he did not do much wrong but wasn’t able to make any impact either.

Mats Hummels (6/10)

Making his return to the starting XI, Hummels was too slow to react in the build-up to Hertha’s goal. But he also made a number of vital recoveries, tackles and clearances for his side.

Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10)

Schlotterbeck was outmuscled far too easily by Niederlechner early on, and that resulted in a real chance for Hertha. But he looked a lot more assured after that. He began the attacks for Borussia Dortmund’s first two goals and also made a number of crucial interceptions.

Julian Ryerson (5/10)

Ryerson’s performance showed once again that he is a lot more comfortable playing at right-back. He put in another hard working shift for his side. But his decision making wasn’t always the best.
