Emre Can (6/10)

Can quietly had a decent game in defensive midfield and came up with some vital tackles for his side. He did not do much wrong, even though his ball distribution in the build-up play wasn’t always the best.

Salih Özcan (5/10)

Özcan had a difficult time in midfield as he was forced to chase bodies time and time again. He was too safe with his passes and failed to offer the team any impetus going forward.

Marco Reus (8/10)

Reus looked like a man on a mission on his return to the starting XI. He helped make both of Borussia Dortmund’s first half goals happen. His run into the box for the opening goal was especially delightful, as he dribbled his way past three defenders before setting up Adeyemi. The BVB captain then made it 3-1 with a stunning free-kick.
