Julien Duranville set to start training with the team next week

Highly rated winger Julien Duranville is set to start training with the Borussia Dortmund first-team next week after recovering from his injury.
Borussia Dortmund completed the signing of Julien Duranville from RSC Anderlecht during the January transfer window for an initial fee of 8.5 million euros. The 16 year old was carrying a muscle injury that he suffered late last year and has not yet been able to train with the team as a result.
That is set to change soon, with Ruhr Nachrichten reporting that Duranville will return to the pitch and start training with his teammates at the beginning of next week. The report adds that it will take at least two weeks after that before he can be ready to make his competitive debut with Borussia Dortmund.
Sebastian Kehl and Edin Terzic both said last month that the plan is to integrate Duranville into the first-team step by step and slowly introduce him to the level of the Bundesliga.
Julien Duranville is considered to be one of the most talented young wingers in the world, and several of Europe’s biggest clubs were interested in signing him before he joined Borussia Dortmund. He made his first-team debut for Anderlecht soon after his 16th birthday and also became the youngest goalscorer in Jupiler Pro League history last year.
There is real belief at Borussia Dortmund that Duranville can follow in the footsteps of the likes of Jadon Sancho, Gio Reyna, Jude Bellingham, and Youssoufa Moukoko, and establish himself in the Bundesliga in the coming years.
