Borussia Dortmund squeezed past a battling TSG Hoffenheim side to claim their ninth win in a row in all competitions.

Borussia Dortmund displayed their title credentials once again on Saturday afternoon by earning a hard fought 1-0 win away to TSG Hoffenheim. Julian Brandt scored the only goal of the game in the first half to help Edin Terzic’s side make it nine wins in a row in all competitions.

The Black and Yellows were certainly not at their best. But they still managed to create a host of big chances. And they would have no doubt won by a big scoreline, had it not been for some outstanding goalkeeping from Oliver Baumann.

With several tough tests coming up over the next few weeks, BVB will be delighted with the three points in Sinsheim. Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 1-0 win over Hoffenheim.

Gregor Kobel (7/10)

Kobel stepped up for his side, as he so often does. The Swiss shot-stopper displayed an assured presence between the sticks, and managed to make a number of big saves en route to another well deserved clean sheet.
