Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 2-2 draw vs Schalke 04
By Tushar Bahl
Raphael Guerreiro (7/10)
Guerreiro was given a free role in midfield in the absence of Reus and Brandt. And he certainly made the most of it. The Portuguese international showed his sublime technical ability by scoring BVB’s second goal. He also set up the opening goal, and created a number of opportunities for his teammates. Not having as many defensive responsibilities certainly helped get the best out of the 29 year old.
Emre Can (6/10)
Can helped set up Guerreiro’s goal with a delightful pass. He put in a hard working shift for his side and kept things tight between defence and midfield.
Jude Bellingham (5/10)
Bellingham delivered another fairly flat performance in the middle of the park. He had a decent first half and also came close to scoring. But he looked tired after the break. The England international gave the ball away cheaply before Schalke’s first goal. And he also looked way too passive while trying to spot the cross in the build-up to Karaman’s 79th minute equaliser.
