Donyell Malen (5/10)
Playing down the right wing, Malen had a number of encouraging moments in the first half and will feel disappointed that he did not score at least once. He looked dangerous going forward in the first half, but was kept fairly quiet after the break.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (4/10)
It appeared that Bynoe-Gittens was trying too hard at times. And whatever he tried did not really come off. The highly rated winger had a great opportunity to double Borussia Dortmund’s lead in the second half. And his miss proved to be very costly in the end.
Sebastien Haller (5/10)
Haller held the ball up really well at times, and also worked hard to compete in duels. But he was often starved of any decent support, and struggled to link up with his teammates.
