Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 6-1 win over FC Köln
By Tushar Bahl
Marius Wolf (7/10)
Wolf had another solid game at right-back as he celebrated his first ever Germany call-up. The 27 year old made a number of dangerous forward runs and linked up really well with his teammates. He also defended with great command and did the job asked of him really well.
Niklas Süle (6/10)
Süle defended well for the most part and was also involved in the build up of a number of Borussia Dortmund’s encouraging attacks. His passing was strong and his tackles were precise, as he ensured that Köln weren’t able to cause too many problems to the BVB goal.
Nico Schlotterbeck (6/10)
Schlotterbeck had a much quieter game and was caught out of position in the build-up to Köln’s goal. But he got better as the game went on, and helped lead the defence really well in the second half.
Julian Ryerson (6/10)
Ryerson had a quiet evening going forward, with BVB preferring to attack from Marius Wolf’s flank more often than not. He was solid in defence for the most part and dealt with majority of what Köln threw at him really well.
