Liverpool are increasingly unlikely to sign Jude Bellingham, who has been heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund in recent months.

The future of Jude Bellingham remains uncertain, with some of the biggest clubs in Europe in the race for his signature. Borussia Dortmund would like to keep the England international at the club beyond the end of the season, and reports claim that they are even willing to make him the club’s highest paid player if he extends his contract.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Bellingham more heavily than any other club in recent months. But it appears that their hopes of signing him are dwindling. According to the Athletic, it is thought of as increasingly unlikely that the English Premier League side will sign the 19 year old this summer.

The report claims that the financial power of the other interested clubs means that Liverpool are reluctant to enter a bidding war. Their hopes of signing Bellingham aren’t over just yet, but it appears that Manchester City and Real Madrid are in a stronger position to sign him at the moment.

Jude Bellingham still has more than two years left on his Borussia Dortmund contract. He has yet to make a final decision on his future, and the BVB bosses are set to hold talks with his representatives in the coming weeks. The Black and Yellows will demand a fee in the region of 150 million euros if Bellingham decides to leave in the summer.
