Bayern Munich sack Julian Nagelsmann ahead of Der Klassiker

Bayern Munich have made the decision to part ways with Julian Nagelsmann and appoint Thomas Tuchel as head coach ahead of their clash against Borussia Dortmund.
Julian Nagelsmann’s time at Bayern Munich has come to an abrupt end, with multiple reports claiming that he has been sacked by the defending Bundesliga champions. The decision comes less than a week after Bayern suffered a 2-1 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, and fell one point behind Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga standings.
It is being reported that Bayern Munich are now lining up a sensational move for former Borussia Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel. An agreement has already been reached between the two parties, and Tuchel is now about to take over at Bayern Munich.
Tuchel is currently without a club, having been sacked by Chelsea in September. He is now set for a return to the Bundesliga, where he will go up against his former employers Borussia Dortmund in his first game in charge. The game will have a lot riding on it, with the two teams currently battling for the Bundesliga title.
Bayern Munich’s decision to part ways with Julian Nagelsmann is a big surprise, especially considering the fact that they are still very much in contention to win the Bundesliga, the UEFA Champions League and the DFB-Pokal this season.
But the 35 year old has seemingly paid the price for Bayern’s inconsistent form in the Bundesliga since the turn of the year. And it will be interesting to see if this decision pays off for them.
