Left-back

Left-back is a position with a serious lack of depth, and Borussia Dortmund have realised that with the signing of Julian Ryerson and the impending arrival of Ramy Bensebaini.

As Raphael Guerreiro’s contract expires in June, questions still remain regarding his future at BVB, and whether he will stay at the club. Tom Rothe and Prince Aning are two options in the youth ranks that Borussia Dortmund can count on if needed.

With Guerreiro potentially moving to a midfield role, Borussia Dortmund will need a new left-back regardless of whether or not he stays. And the hope will be that the potential signing of Ramy Bensebaini can bring in the desired boost to their back-line.
