Borussia Dortmund right-back Marius Wolf could make his debut as Germany take on Peru in a friendly match on Saturday evening.

Germany are set to face Peru in a friendly match on Saturday in what will be their first game since their group stage exit at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Hansi Flick’s side will now turn their attentions to next year’s European Championships, that they will be hosting and have already qualified for as a result.

Flick could name three Borussia Dortmund players in his starting XI for the game against Peru. With Niklas Süle and Antonio Rüdiger rested, Nico Schlotterbeck is set to start in defence for Germany. Marius Wolf could also start at right-back after impressing for the Black and Yellows in recent weeks. While Emre Can will be hoping to start in defensive midfield.

Jamal Musiala is injured, so Florian Wirtz could come into the starting XI for his first Germany appearance since 2021. Werder Bremen striker and Bundesliga top scorer Niclas Füllkrug is expected to start up front.

Peru have a number of talented players in their ranks, and could cause their opponents a lot of problems on Saturday.

Probable Line-ups

Germany: ter Stegen – Wolf, Ginter, Schlotterbeck, Raum – Can, Kimmich – Wirtz, Havertz, Werner – Füllkrug

Peru: Gallese – Advincula, Zambrano, Abram, Trauco – Aquino, Tapia, Yotun – Carrillo, Flores – Lapadula
