Report: Borussia Dortmund keeping tabs on Manchester City youngster Shea Charles
Borussia Dortmund are said to be keeping tabs on highly rated Manchester City and Northern Ireland midfielder Shea Charles.
Talented Manchester City midfielder Shea Charles is said to be on the radar of Borussia Dortmund. This is being reported by Fabrizio Romano, who claims that a number of clubs are showing interest in signing the 19 year old.
Charles is considered to be one of the most exciting talents in the Manchester City youth ranks. He has made a total of 30 appearances for Manchester City’s various youth teams this season, and also captained them in the UEFA Youth League.
He featured in both of his team’s UEFA Youth League group stage matches against Borussia Dortmund earlier this season, and seemingly made a strong impression on the club’s scouts.
Shea Charles has yet to make his first-team debut for Manchester City, but has already made five appearances for the Northern Ireland senior team and has made quite an impact.
It is currently unclear just how serious Borussia Dortmund’s interest is in signing Shea Charles. But the Black and Yellows have signed a number of talented young players from Manchester City in recent years, including Jadon Sancho, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Jayden Braaf.
