Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 4-2 defeat to Bayern Munich
By Tushar Bahl
Marius Wolf (4/10)
Wolf darted forward to great effect on a number of occasions early on. But he was penned in and forced to defend deep after Bayern’s first goal. The right-back found it hard to keep up with Kingsley Coman, and lost sight of him before Bayern’s fourth goal.
Niklas Süle (4/10)
Süle made a couple of crucial recoveries for his side, but also struggled to cope with his former team’s quality in front of goal.
Nico Schlotterbeck (4/10)
Schlotterbeck managed to shake off his injury and play from the start. But he didn’t look to be 100% fit, and was forced off in the closing stages of the first half. The Germany international was also beaten in the air by Matthijs de Ligt before Bayern’s second goal.
Julian Ryerson (3/10)
Ryerson had a nightmare 45 minutes at left-back, with Leroy Sané causing him all sorts of problems. He lost the ball before Bayern’s third goal and was subbed off at half-time.
