Emre Can (5/10)

Emre Can was caught chasing bodies for much of the first half. He tried his best to plug the gaps in midfield, but wasn’t able to succeed. The Germany international played as a centre-back in BVB’s back three after the break, and made a number of key recoveries for his side to prevent the scoreline from getting worse.

Salih Özcan (3/10)

Özcan replaced Bellingham in the starting XI and that proved to be a poor decision from Edin Terzic, as the Turkish international delivered another underwhelming performance. His lack of impact going forward was evident once again in the second half, as Borussia Dortmund looked to be laboured and passive with him running things in midfield.

Raphael Guerreiro (4/10)

Guerreiro wasn’t able to make any impact on the game from the middle of the park, and was asked to play at left-back in the second half. He did a decent job defensively, but was ineffective going forward.
