Emre Can stopped a number of Union Berlin counter-attacks by showing the necessary aggression in the middle of the park. He also won the majority of his duels and helped his side regain possession on a number of occasions.
Jude Bellingham (6/10)
Bellingham put in a much improved performance on his return to the starting XI. He looked dangerous going forward at times with his clever movement and link-up play. But his decision making wasn’t always the best.
Julian Brandt (7/10)
Brandt was the catalyst for a lot of good things Borussia Dortmund did in the final third and also helped make the first goal happen with his pass to Guerreiro. The Germany international also performed his defensive duties really well and worked hard for his side.
