Borussia Dortmund player ratings vs Union Berlin: Youssoufa Moukoko nets late winner
By Tushar Bahl
Donyell Malen (7/10)
Malen continued his fine run of form and opened the scoring for Borussia Dortmund with a well taken finish under pressure. The Dutchman looked very lively in the first half but lost his momentum slightly in the second.
Karim Adeyemi (7/10)
Adeyemi was booked for diving but looked dangerous down the left flank on his return to the starting XI. He caused the Union Berlin defenders a lot of problems in the first half but ran out of steam after the break.
Sebastien Haller (5/10)
Haller had a chance to score in the 43rd minute, but his close-range effort was well saved by Frederik Rønnow. He was kept fairly quiet by the Union Berlin defence other than that.
Youssoufa Moukoko (7/10)
Moukoko came off the bench for his 50th appearance in the Bundesliga, and he made a telling impact on the game. The 18 year old showed great awareness and determination to follow through on a Union Berlin mistake, before rounding past the goalkeeper and scoring into an empty net.
