Borussia Dortmund failed to close the gap to Bayern Munich as they were held to a 3-3 draw away from home by 10-man Stuttgart.
A woeful defensive performance gave way to a frustrating draw as Borussia Dortmund let a glorious chance to go level on points with Bayern Munich slip through their hands. An 87th minute equaliser from Silas Katompa Mvumpa helped relegation threatened Stuttgart earn a 3-3 draw against the Black and Yellows.
Gio Reyna had earlier given Borussia Dortmund the lead in the 92nd minute, with his goal coming after Edin Terzic side blew a two goal lead. The BVB players will only have themselves to blame after throwing the game away like this against a team battling relegation. For a team looking to win the Bundesliga title to implode like this is simply unfathomable.

Kobel made a superb save to prevent Stuttgart from equalising in the 30th minute. He didn’t stand a chance with any of Stuttgart’s goals, but also failed to prevent his defence from crumbling so easily.
