Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 3-3 draw vs Stuttgart
By Tushar Bahl
Donyell Malen (8/10)
Malen continued his excellent run of form by setting up the opening goal before making it 2-0 with a sumptuous finish after staving off the challenge of three Stuttgart defenders. The Dutchman was Borussia Dortmund’s only shining light in this game and caused Stuttgart all sorts of problems, especially in the first half.
Karim Adeyemi (5/10)
Adeyemi created a good chance for Bellingham and then missed a great chance to score soon after. He linked up well with his teammates at times, but was also very sloppy on a number of occasions.
Sebastien Haller (6/10)
Haller missed a good chance to give Borussia Dortmund the lead in the 10th minute. But he made up for it by opening the scoring mid-way through the first half. He was not able to get involved much after that and made way for Youssoufa Moukoko in the second half.
Soumaila Coulibaly (4/10)
Coulibaly had a rude awakening on his Bundesliga debut and often struggled to cope with the Stuttgart forwards. The 19 year old wasn’t helped by all the chaos around him. But his missed clearance attempt before Stuttgart’s third goal showed that he may not be ready to play at the top level just yet.
