Emre Can (6/10)

Emre Can returned to his natural defensive midfield role and delivered a much more assured performance. The Germany international put in a solid shift in the middle of the park and broke up a number of Eintracht Frankfurt attacks. He did lose sight of Mario Götze on a couple of occasions, but was on his game for the majority of the 90 minutes.

Jude Bellingham (8/10)

Bellingham looked to be fired up by Bayern’s defeat and he set the tone early on for Borussia Dortmund by scoring the opening goal. Ending his goal drought gave the England international plenty of confidence, and he looked to be back to his combative best after struggling a bit in recent games.

Julian Brandt (6/10)

Brandt assisted the opening goal and helped Borussia Dortmund get off to a strong start. His impact was limited after that, with BVB relying more on their wingers to set the tone.
