Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-1 draw vs Bochum
By Tushar Bahl
Julian Ryerson (6/10)
Ryerson had a difficult evening at right-back against Christopher Antwi-Adjei, who always seems to cause problems to the Borussia Dortmund defenders. The Norwegian international still put in a hard working shift for his team and made a crucial last ditch interception to prevent Bochum from scoring in the second half.
Niklas Süle (6/10)
Süle made a vital block to prevent Asano from scoring in the first half. He put in a committed shift for his side and helped stop a couple of Bochum counter-attacks.
Mats Hummels (6/10)
Hummels’ lack of pace was an issue at times, as it allowed Bochum to run in behind on a few occasions. But the veteran centre-back stepped in and made a number of vital clearances for his side. He also played a key role in the equalising goal with his excellent long ball to find Donyell Malen.
Raphael Guerreiro (5/10)
Guerreiro helped make things happen going forward but was careless at times defensively. He failed to stop the cross before Bochum’s early opener and also gave Asano too much space and time on a number of occasions.
